NEW YORK, NY (July 6, 2015) – InterContinental Beverage Capital, Inc. (“IBC”) announced today that Mr. Johnnie Blankenship has joined the firm as Director, Western North America and will lead western and pacific initiatives. IBC is a New York-based merchant banking and advisory firm with offices in New York, Atlanta and Boca Raton.
Mr. Blankenship is responsible for business development expansion, and acquisitions, as well as IBC’s services to clients in the western region of North America, and is based in Venice, CA.
An experienced, respected beverage industry veteran, Mr. Blankenship has over 30 years of diverse experience which includes senior executive positions with Coca-Cola Enterprises, Coca-Cola North America, Miller Coors and Red Bull N.A. He has a proven track record of successfully commercializing new product line extensions and packaging innovations, has been recognized as best in class and award winning general manager, organization design and development specialist, leading edge customer management strategist and partnership development negotiator, and an operational marketing expert.
Most recently, Blankenship served as the V.P. of Sales N.A. for APM Music (Universal/EMI), where he turned around negative revenue trends and accelerated revenue growth in a declining industry, and led negotiations to successfully win new multi-year client partnership agreements with ESPN, NBCU, CBS, AMC, Viacom MTV, Omnicom, and numerous other cable networks and corporate clients.
Mr. Blankenship is a graduate of The University of Texas, Arlington with a degree in Finance.
