John Accardo is a Managing Director of IBC and a seasoned C-suite executive with broad-based domestic and international consumer products experience with leading beer, spirits and snack food companies. John’s focus is on market entry and brand-commercialization through brand, route-to-market and distribution strategy to deliver accelerated growth and long-term value.
John’s successful 30-year career spans roles as both a senior business leader and in strategy/corporate development with responsibilities in Asia, Europe, the US and Latin America for Anheuser-Busch (1983 – 1996), Brown-Forman (1996 – 2012) and John B. Sanfilippo & Son (2012 – 2016). John is a true internationalist and has over 11-years living and working outside the US, including assignments in Southeast Asia, Central Europe and two in China. In addition, John’s extensive US experience includes leading Brown-Forman’s combined spirits and wine business is open and control states and the creation of a distributor alliance strategy.
John is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a BA in Economics and MS in Finance. Additionally, John has completed Executive Education programs in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, negotiating, brand development and leadership at Harvard, The Wharton School, Northwestern, University of Chicago and the Center for Creative Leadership – Brussels.
