Jeffrey R. Colbert joined the IBC team as a Partner in January 2026. He is a senior executive and entrepreneur with 40 years of experience in the beverage industry in a variety of leadership roles for businesses ranging from $250M to $1B in annual revenue. In addition, he has extensive advisory, capital raise and board experience across multiple industries including craft distilleries, energy solutions, health/medical innovation, software/technology and various start-ups, both domestically and globally.
Jeff currently is Co-Founder, CEO of Green Growth Beverage (GGB), a Texas-based company launched in 2024 providing route-to-market solutions for early-stage and growth beverage brands. GGB supports its clients with localized sales and marketing resources designed to complement both brand teams and distributor organizations. GGB currently operates across the Central and Southeast United States, with planned expansion in 2026 with primary focus on spirit brands, ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages, cannabis beverages, and a select non-alcohol portfolio. He also currently serves as a Business Development Advisor for a global software and technology solutions firm focused on global trade and anti-counterfeiting solutions across multiple industries and international markets for nearly three decades.
Jeff brings both C-level and senior leadership experience across the non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage industries, including soft drinks, functional beverages, beer, spirits, and emerging categories. His career includes executive roles with Coca-Cola Enterprises, Miller Brewing, Molson Coors, MillerCoors, Tenth and Blake Beer Company, Heineken, Bacardi and Mast-Jägermeister. His contributions have often started or transformed organizations resulting in material improvements in capability and performance. Notably, he participated in the joint venture integration teams for both MolsonCoors and MillerCoors including testifying in Department of Justice proceedings leading to DOJ approval of the MillerCoors Joint Venture. He also played a lead role in the creation of Tenth and Blake Beer Company, an independent yet connected craft and import organization within MillerCoors. Similarly, he played a key role in the organizational redesign workstreams within Bacardi USA and the transformation/integration of Sidney Frank Importing Company (SFIC) to Mast-Jägermeister USA.
Jeff’s leadership capabilities are marked by highly developed business acumen and skills in broad strategy development, implementation and execution, route-to-market solutions, customer management and sales and marketing for both domestic and international brands/businesses. His core expertise is in the beverage industry having served in General Manager/Managing Director roles for both the distributor and supplier along with C-level roles with distilleries and start-ups. As a Business Development Advisor for the past 7+ years with Assured Products Group, a software/technology solutions company, he is currently engaged with industries spanning international markets/governments and Fortune 50 companies providing anti-counterfeiting solutions impacting global illicit trade.
Jeff graduated from the University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business and Economics, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Jeff and his wife Patti were born and raised in Massachusetts and now reside in north Dallas and have three children, Brendan, Abbey and Casey. Nana and “Big Papi” are also the proud grandparents of two young grandsons, Campbell and Cooper.
