NEW YORK, NY (June 15, 2015) – InterContinental Beverage Capital, Inc. (“IBC”) announced that it has entered into an advisory agreement with East Imperial Superior Beverages (“EISB”). Under the terms of this agreement, IBC will provide strategic business and financial advisory services aimed at expanding the brand, both in the US and internationally, while accelerating EISB’s distribution and developing its infrastructure. EISB, a beverage company headquartered in Singapore, developed and markets superior quality cocktail mixers in 14 countries. IBC is a New York-based merchant banking and advisory firm with representative offices in Atlanta, Boca Raton and Venice, CA.
EISB produces the only tonic water in the world made with the original Asian ingredients, using only the finest natural and sustainably sourced ingredients with no synthetic additives. The mixers are consumed in leading hotels, fine dining restaurants, cocktail bars, high end retail establishments, and special events. This is a rapidly expanding category. “Craft” mixers currently are estimated at 2.5% of the global $12 billion mixer category. Annual growth rate for ‘‘craft” mixers is expected to be at least 30% for the foreseeable future, as it aligns with all the great spirits producers in a variety of high end cocktails.
Kevin Law-Smith, EISB’s co-founder and CEO, said, “Our partnership with IBC will allow us to tap into a wealth of industry and category experience in the United States and globally. This will enable us to focus on what needs to be done and to benefit from a broad range of resources that will be required to support our expected rapid market development.”
John Carson, Chairman of IBC, former President of Cadbury Schweppes NA and Triarc Beverages NA Chairman, added, “ This is a perfect match of a fast growth, talented young company that has developed excellent products under a global brand with a group that brings decades of experience in growing successful brands globally.”
